As an olfactory artist the majority of my research is science led, invariably leading to a finished artwork. Study of olfaction and its effects on the brain has been pivotal to my practice for over a decade.
Covid-19, and certain connections with Dementia, have raised awareness of anosmia - it’s also at the centre of my current research.
‘Anosmia Visualised’ is my response, as an olfactory artist, to the life changing effects of the condition.
